Batibo Community Football Competition 2024
The Batibo annual community football competition has officially kicked off, bringing new and exciting elements this year, including the introduction of an under-13 football category. The competition, which began on July 11th, is proudly sponsored by the GIVING HOPE TO ALL FOUNDATION under the theme: "Football for All: Bridging Divides, Building Futures."

The focus of this year's event is on ensuring inclusivity and providing equal opportunities for all children and youths, regardless of their background, to participate and grow through the sport of soccer.

This year’s edition has attracted sons and daughters of Batibo from across the North West region, who have come together to witness and participate in the competition. The initiative has been successful in fostering community unity, as various quarters have formed teams that come together weekly to engage in this game of friendship.
A notable highlight of this year’s competition is the inclusion of under-13 teams for each of the participating teams, aimed at nurturing young talent and preparing them for a successful return to school.
As the competition progresses, it has now reached the semi-finals stage, with the following teams having participated:
1. NgakU FC - (Won all 4 matches played)
2. GUKa FC- (Won 3 matches out of 4 played)
3. Kwondum FV- (Won 1 match, drew 1, and lost 2)
4. Ewai FC - (Drew 2 matches and lost 2)
5. WUMOTEK FC - (Drew 1 match and lost 3)
In the senior category, NgakU FC will face Kwondum FV in the finals, while in the junior category, NgakU Under-13 will play against GUKa Under-13.
